Empties - Cleansing Balms I’ve used up!

 Hello!

Today I have a review of four different cleansing balms that I have used up in the last year!

From top to bottom left to right:

Wishful Clean Genie Cleansing Butter - £31 for 100g - Firstly, I really enjoyed the no-scent scent of this. It smells….clean if that makes sense! The name “butter” is very apt as it does feel like the consistency of butter you forgot to put back in the fridge! Which is a little weird at first if you’re used to harder cleansing balms and is easy to use too much to start with. Spreads VERY easily and did a great job at taking my makeup off, including waterproof eye makeup. Left my skin feeling very soft and supple, which is all thanks to the green tea extract in it which is known for helping to maintain skin moisture. Would I buy again? The consistency was a bit too odd for me personally so I would purchase again, but I wouldn’t be mad if someone gifted it to me! 6/10

Estée Lauder Advanced Night Micro Cleansing Balm - £38 for 70ml - This is the most expensive of the bunch with the least amount of product, which can be off putting to some, but the texture of this is beautiful. A tiny amount goes such a long way with one twist of the palms melting the balm into a beautiful oil consistency to really remove all makeup and pollution (very handy for those of us who commute!) Again, this has a clean scent with nothing major added except a bit of lavender which is barely noticeable but also gave my night routine a bit of a spa like feeling. Removes all makeup including waterproof eye makeup. Leaves my skin feel soft but with a tiny bit of residue if I don’t rinse fully. Would I buy again? Yes if I felt I had a bit of extra cash to spare as the price/ml ratio does make this a bit more expensive compared to the others 8/10

Clinique Take The Day Off Balm - £26 for 125ml - One of the classic cleansing balms and for good reason! You get a lot of product and, like everything else on Clinique, it’s 100% fragrance free! Like the Lauder balm, a tiny bit of this goes a long way. It’s the most solid of all the balms in this review so it’s easy to not use too much and that means it lasts a long time! This often comes in some really good sets around Christmas and you can also buy this in a mini for £9 for 30ml so you can try it before delving in to the bigger size first if you want. Takes off all makeup easily including waterproof eye makeup and any SPF too. Leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated. Would I buy again? Yes. I’ve gone through multiples of this balm and usually have a backup “just in case”! 9/10

No7 Radiant Results Nourishing Cleansing Balm - £9 for 125ml - This cleansing balm is amazing for the price you pay! (And is also normally on some kind of great offer too!!) It’s a softer consistency so slightly easier to use a bit too much like the Huda one, but isn’t as soft at the Huda one. This is a great one to go to if a customer has never used a cleansing balm before and don’t want to break the bank for “just a makeup remover” or if they can’t afford their trusty premium brand cleanser at the moment. This took off all my makeup including waterproof eye makeup. Leaves my skin feeling a little oiler than the others due to the coconut oil in it being slightly harder to wash off but if used with a second cleanse, this isn’t an issue at all. Would I buy it again? For almost a third of the cost of the Clinique one, yes I 100% would do….especially if it’s on offer or I have a voucher too! 8/10

As you can see, I liked all of them but my favourite is still the Clinique Take The Day Off Balm as it just works well and lasts me ages. I’ve really enjoyed getting to try all of these out either on allocation or from purchasing myself!

What do you all think? Do you have a go to cleansing balm? Are there any I NEED to try next? (I recently got a mini of the Rodial Pink Diamond Cleanser and I’m really enjoying that but am open to any suggestions!)

Until next time,

xoxo

Empties and Misses - 2016 Part 1

Hello!

So today I'm taking you through a few bits I've used up and some that I haven't for various reasons....

  • bareMinerals Combination Skin Moisturiser - Love this moisturiser but it's been discontinued and replaced with their AMAZING new skincare range instead. I'm currently using their oil free moisturiser called True Oasis instead and I'm in love. Would I repurchase? Well....no....because I can't and there is something better by bareMinerals now instead!
  • B. Makeup Brush Cleanser - Man, I've used a lot of brush cleaners in my time. I have this habit of just weirdly wanting to try them all apparently! This is hands down my favourite that I've used so far. Cleans my brushes quickly, is anti-bacterial and doesn't smell like it'll be killing my lungs when I breathe it in...win, win, win! Would I repurchase? Yes and I already have! Plus Superdrug had it on offer so that was handy!
  • bareMinerals Multi-Wrinkle Repair Serum - Love this serum....but see above with the moisturiser. Currently discontinued but I've switched to SkinLongevity, which is the new serum by bareMinerals so it's all good. Would I repurchase? No because I can't.
  • bareMinerals Blemish Remedy Foundation in 01 Porcelain - This is my absolute favourite bareMinerals foundation EVER. I genuinely didn't think I'd actually use this as I don't have blemish prone skin but I tried it as I think it's important to know what each foundation looks and feels like when serving customers....and you know what? I bloody loved it!! I have super combination skin and it kept my oily oily forehead shine free and my dry skin didn't look dry at all during the day! Love, love, LOVE! Would I repurchase? YES! I actually ran out of this one before my new one arrived and I was distraught!! I have my new one now and I'm seriously considering buying a back up so I never run out again....
  • bareMinerals Original Foundation in Fairly Light - This was my go to foundation before using Blemish Remedy and I loved it.....not so much now. I just feel shiny with it on now and in order to get the same effect that the Blemish Remedy one gives me I have to top up my translucent powder half way through the day. Basically, I'm really lazy so way do two things when I can do one and get the same result? Would I repurchase? Probably not. Unless my skin suddenly changes and Blemish Remedy isn't right for me. That being said, I have a full pot after getting a back up before trying the Blemish Remedy one....

  • bareMinerals Universal Dark Eyebrow Pencil - It feels like I've had this pencil for years....and it turns out I have! Because it's so pigmented it's taken ages to use up! Also I do tend to use powder by itself some days, which means this pencil lasted even longer. I like how thin the nib is so it's really easy to have a very delicate brow or I can build it up too if I want. Would I repurchase? Yep....and you guessed it, I already have!
  • bareMinerals Thrilled Lipliner - This is by far my favourite lipliner colour for me. It's like a "my lips but better" shade which means I can actually just use it alone to define my lips if I want. I have quite a thing for lipliners at the moment but this is the only one I've ever managed to use up (it's a twist up one too, which makes me happy!) Would I repurchase? I'm going to go out on a limb here and say you can probably guess my answer to this one....(Yes....and i already have....!)

And now the misses...
  • Boots Botanics Cleansing Toner - I got this in the hopes that it would be similar to the Pixi Glow Tonic...and it just isn't really. I think if you were on a really tight budget then this isn't bad and is brightening to some extent but for me personally, I just ended up going and buying the Pixi Glow Tonic anyway.
  • Garnier Micellar Oil-infused Cleansing Water - This wasn't a bad cleanser and I got it to try it as my "quick cleanser" for lazy days as I hoped it might be a bit better than the standard micellar waters that I've tried but a) the smell of this makes me want to heave and it lingers on my skin for too long so I want to wash my face anyway and b) nothing seems to beat my Bioderma for a quick lazy day cleanser (or pre-cleanser if I'm feeling fancy or had really heavy makeup on). Bioderma just seems to get more off and leave my face feeling cleaner. Plus the smell.....just no.
  • Clarins One-Step Cleanser - I've used this before and didn't mind it (it smells a bit weird but it doesn't linger) but it just didn't agree with my skin this time. Again, I felt my Bioderma is better. luckily this was a deluxe sample so I didn't waste any money on it!
  • Clarins Instant Eye Make-up Remover - What is it with Clarins and the smell of their products?! There's bloody Lily in everything apparently. I'd heard really good things about this eye makeup remover and my L'Oreal one is running out so I wanted to try a new one and thought this would be a good idea. Again, luckily it was a deluxe sample and I'm so so glad I didn't just get the full size one on a whim as the smell makes me feel physically sick and although it doesn't linger for ages afterwards as I sweep over my eyes with my other cleanser afterwards, just opening the bottle makes me feel pretty sick. I tried the Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover in a tiny sample too as the one on counter didn't smell too bad but when I tried it at home it was a real NOPE moment for me. I HATE the smell of lilies anyway (plus the are poisonous to cats (of which I have 3) so I dislike them for this reason too....) so to have it in a skincare product just bothers me a lot apparently!

  • Nip+Fab Viper Venom Eye Roll On (no idea what it's actually called as the writing has rubbed off and I'm too lazy to Google it....) and Viper Venom Wrinkle Fix - Both of these products kind of smell like Sudocrem, which I don't actually mind, but I'm pretty sure these both actually caused an allergic reaction so they have been taken out of my routine as I used to have pretty bad skin and never like to risk it if I think a reaction is happening. It's not worth messing my skin up again because I feel I should use a product up so it's not a waste of money!
  • Lancome Energie De Vie Smoothing and Glow Boosting Liquid Care and Sleeping Mask samples - These are currently available at most Lancome counters as free samples when you ask and is their new skincare range. Now then, this is really my own fault because I had a really bad reaction to the HydraZen samples I had a while back but I decide to try these and see what they were like. Guess what happened? Yeah that's right...I had a god damn allergic reaction to it. How annoying!! I really like the idea of this range but my skin really really does not. I basically smothered my skin in Sudocrem the night after my reaction, which really helped my skin. Guess I'll be sticking to my bareMinerals skincare then!

So there are my hits and misses for 2016 so far! I don't seem to go through a lot of stuff like other people do (or it's just the same stuff every time....(hello Lee Stafford Bleach Blondes Shampoo and Conditioner!) which would probably get very boring very quickly....) but when I do I'll share it with you guys as I really enjoying reading these kinds of posts! Let me know if you have any hits or misses so far this year, or if any of my hits are your misses or my misses are your hits! As always, just because they are misses for me, doesn't mean they won't suit some of you guys! (also you may love the smell of lilies!!haha!)

Until next time,
xoxo

November/December Empties

Hello!

Firstly, HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Hope everyone had a great night and that you're all enjoying the first day of 2013!

So I've decided to try and save up my empties a little bit so that it's not just 3 items per post, but also so I can feel like I've achieved something with using up a few more products...and making it look like I've used up lots too! Haha!

Hair Products:

  • Alberto Balsam Coconut and Lychee Shampoo and Conditioner - I think I had this in my empties last time....which shows how much I love it! It's cheap, doesn't make my head itch, makes my hair feel clean but soft and, best of all, smells delicious! I'm switching this up with my Lee Stafford shampoo and conditioner for bleached blondes at the moment so my next two bottles will last longer I guess.  Would I buy again? Yes....and I already have!
  • Tresemmé Intense Smoothing Masque - My Mum brought a whole bunch of these when they were on offer and kindly let me use one last night to give my hair a little bit of extra nourishment. Because my hair is so short, I actually only needed a small amount of this so my Mum actually used it up this morning. It smells ok and did make my hair feel very soft but I haven't noticed a huge difference really. However, my Mum has quite frizz prone hair and found that this really helped her hair a lot. Would I buy again?  probably wouldn't but I think my Mum would. Any ideas for hair masques for short, dyed hair then I'd appreciate it!

Body Products:

  • St. Tropez Body Polish - Again, pretty sure this was in my last empties post! I really like this body scrub as it's got really fine particles in it so I feel like it's really smoothing my skin a lot. It smells nice but isn't over whelming. Would I buy again? I basically have 4 bottles of this in my drawer....so yes. If I see this in my local TKMaxx for super cheap then I will always pick up a bottle (or two!)
  • The Body Shop Candied Ginger Body Scrub - I picked this up in the Body Shop online sale a while back because I'd read good things about it and love the smell of Ginger.....however this was not for me at all. Firstly, I had issues with the fact that it was a pot in the shower. Ever time I used it, water would always get in! Annoying! Secondly, the smell was not like ginger at all. To me it smelt like cheap, store branded cola/cola bottle sweets. The consistency was ok but it didn't really feel like a proper scrub to me. Would I buy again? No. The smell alone was enough to put me off. Good job it didn't cost me much at all!
  • The Body Shop Mango Shower Gel - Another one that was on my list last time I think! I bloody love the smell of this and really like how it leaves me feeling clean and leave a little bit of scent on my skin too. Would I buy again? Hell yes! I already have one bottle waiting to be used....might need to get another as a back up just in case!
  • Natural Collection Mango and Papaya Body Scrub - I LOVE the smell of this! It's just amazing! The product itself though is a little strange. It doesn't foam (which is fine) but it doesn't really seem to stay on my skin long enough to do anything. It falls off or is washed away so easily, which is kind of frustrating. Would I buy again? Probably not.

Other Products:

  • Gillette Venus Razor - I always used to use disposable razors until I got this. It's so much easier to use and feels much much nicer when I'm tired and can't be bothered to use any form of shaving foam. Would I buy again? Yes. I brought one the other day to replace this one as it was cheaper than buying a box of blades and I'm dirt poor at the moment! I will be buying the blades instead when I get paid!
  • Pearl Drops Part Sparkle Toothpaste - I got this in poundland as I've always wanted to try Pearl Drops toothpaste.....can't say I noticed any difference in the whiteness of my teeth....but then I don't think my teeth are horrendously yellow or anything! I'd be interested in trying this again after I'd used some teeth whitening strips to see if it kept them sparkly white! (I may not have yellow teeth but that doesn't mean I don't want them a little brighter!) Would I buy again?  Possibly depending on the other whitening toothpaste choices out there. (Sidenote: Please ignore the dust on the rim of the cap! I literally finished it up just after my last post and clearly just chucked it to one side and did not check before taking the photo!!)
  • Pure 3 in 1 Make Up Removal Wipes - Another poundland purchase (think it's 2 for a pound) I'm trying to keep to my good nightly skincare routine as my skin goes mental when I use wipes for more than one day. I do like these ones though as they cleanse, tone and moisturise and never leave my skin feeling dry or tingly. Would I buy again? I tend to keep one pack (or two for that price!) in my drawer for emergencies/days when I'm so damn tired that I just can't process how to do my nightly routine (although I honestly haven't used these in almost 2 months!)
  • Oral B Pro-Expert Toothpaste - This was a sample I ordered because...well...I like free stuff. I'm always up for trying new products so samples are really handy. I really wasn't sure on the taste of this toothpaste at all but it did leave my teeth feeling extra clean. Would I buy again? Probably not as it's nice but not great. My favourite will still be White-Glo for now!

So that's my lot of empties for two months. Pretty pleased with using up a few bits that have been around for what seems like forever (hello Natural Collection scrub....) and it's also nice to have a bit of room in my baskets in the bathroom! Anyone else feel good about finishing bits up? Hope you've all had a great start to the year!

Until next time,
xoxo

First Empties Post...

Hello!

So, I really enjoy these kinds of posts by other people, mainly because I enjoy reading mini reviews about products to see what people would re-purchase and what they wouldn't. It's an interesting way to get small reviews of lots of products in one go. I've been meaning to do this post for ages and have had a small bag under my desk for me to put my empties in...but...well...it's sort of started to overflow because I keep forgetting to do it! So this post is a little bit epic, but hopefully it'll become a bit of a regular feature so I won't have such an epic post for you next time! I also find posts like this always give me an incentive to actually make an effort to use up products, rather than just keep buying more for no reason... So on with the epic post (lots of pictures too...I'll try to keep the waffling down as much as possible I promise!)

Hair Products:

  • Alberto Balsam Blueberry Shampoo and Conditioner for Extra Nourishment - These were both poundland picks when I couldn't find my usual Alberto Balsam ones. These smell really lovely but I didn't really notice my hair feeling "extra nourished" really. Would I buy again? Only if I couldn't find my usual ones really. It wasn't amazing enough to sway me.
  • Alberto Balsam Coconut and Lychee Shampoo and Conditioner for "pampering and nourishment" and "detangling" - This smells delicious and makes my hair feel really soft. Would I buy again? Yes! I've already got a new set and a backup (it was on offer in Sainsbury's at the time.)
  • Original Source White Pear and Avocado Damage Limitation Conditioner - This was a 99p store special and was mainly because I felt my hair needed a little something extra but I wasn't rich enough to be able to afford a high end hair mask. I love the smell of this (the body wash is fab to!) and it feels really nice. Would I buy again? Yes. It's a good treat for my hair but isn't like a proper hair mask, so if I could afford a proper one I'd rather go for that.

  • Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Deep Nourishing Intensive Mask - This smells AMAZING!! I only needed a tiny bit of this (very short hair is very handy sometimes!) and it really made my hair incredibly soft. Would I buy again? Yes! But only when it's on offer. It's usually a bit too expensive for me.
  • Macadamia Deep Repair Masque - This was a sample form a beauty box and lasted me ages. Only issue is that it was in a sachet...always annoying when you don't need to use it all at once. This was really really nice. It left my hair feeling really soft and nourished. I really liked it. Would I buy again? Yes without a doubt....if it wasn't so expensive! I think you can sometimes find it in TKMaxx sometimes so it's always worth a look!

  • Fudge Membrane Gas - This is maximum hold and amazing. I need extra firm hold for my hair as it goes quite flat quite easily. Down side to this is that it tends to a) leave a fine film of white powder on ANYTHING it touches and b) it sets my asthma off a little bit....oops! Would I buy again? I probably would if I saw it in TKMaxx again for as cheap as I got this one, but I would have to use it outside because the fine film of powder was just the worst.
  • L'oreal Elnett Satin Hairspray in Supreme Hold - Love, love, LOVE this hairspray in any form. I personally find that the Diamond Hold is better for me, but this one is still fine. Would I buy again? Yes I would, but maybe not this hold. If it's the only one I can find, then I'm happy with it but I'd prefer a firmer hold for work.

Body Products:

  • Original Source Mint and Tea Tree Shower Gel - This really wakes you up in the morning! It makes my skin feel very cold when there's a slight breeze though! I did buy this when I was with Mr Rude (slight name change there...and somewhat milder than I would like to make it tbh...but I'm a better person than that...well, for the time being anyway! Haha!) because I knew he liked using this one, so I had it for when he stayed over. I'm nice and thoughtful like that you see. Would I buy again? Probably not if I could get a different scent. I like the smell of this one but I really don't like feeling cold after a shower!
  • Original Source Lemon and Tea Tree Shower Gel - This smells so lemony and wakes me up quite well in the morning. It makes my skin feel really soft too. Would I buy again? Yes because it smells good and feels nice. I like most Original Source products and you can pick up a lot of them for cheap in Wilkos and the 99p store so their always a bargain, especially as I find I don't need to use that much in each go, so they last for ages!
  • Radox Shower Smoothies Tropical Tranquillity - This was free from a girl I was on training with recently as she wasn't going to take it with her. I gave her my mini Soap and Glory body butter as I didn't like it at all so it was a nice trade! Anyway, this was nice enough but I wasn't thrilled by it. It has a vague exfoliating property but it doesn't really do much to be honest. Would I buy again? No. It did leave me skin feeling a bit slimy if I didn't stand in the shower for a good 5 minutes afterwards. No good for an early morning rush!
  • The Body Shop Mango Shower Gel - I'm obsessed with this shower gel. It's the yummiest smell ever! You don't need much to feel like you're properly clean and it leaves a really subtle scent on my skin after, so for days off when I don't want to wear perfume, this is lovely! Would I buy again? Yes and I already have! I love this so much that I'm tempted to get another one as a back up just in case they suddenly decide to stop selling this...

 Face Products:

  • Boots Cucumber Cleansing Wipes - These are really nice and refreshing and don't make my skin feel dry or anything afterwards. I think they are good for taking my make-up off fully too, which is handy for lazy nights. Would I buy again? I like them but they've been put up in price recently and they aren't THAT great you know? So no, I probably wouldn't buy them again.
  • Pure 3 in 1 Make-up Removal Wipes - These cleanse, tone and moisturise all in one wipe and are amazing for lazy nights (or drunken ones...) I still moisturise after these just because I do have very dry skin on my cheeks and I'd rather not mess it up too much. Would I buy again? Yes, and I have. They are 2 for a pound in poundland and very handy to have around! I try not to use these for everyday because I know how bad they can be for my skin, but they are still handy to have for just in case (for the one night out that I have a month...)
  • Boots Cotton Wool Pads - Standard for any nail obsessed person, but also a standard in my skincare routine. These ones are really good as they don't fall apart easily or anything. Would I buy again? Yes but only on offer. They are actually quite expensive normally and Superdrug ones are really good and cheaper most of the time.
  • Wilkinson's Cotton Wool Pads - These were crap. They fell apart so easily and just didn't work for me. Would I buy again? No. Unless I was completely desperate, but I can't ever see that happening really...

  • Clean and Clear Exfoliating Daily Wash - This has really fine micro-beads in it and isn't very harsh on my skin at all. I think it does help with my dry skin but I feel like I need to get a face wash that might help moisturise my dry skin and then just use this one twice a week instead. Would I buy again? I did recently re-purchase this as I needed a face wash and was in a rush, so I just went with what I knew. If anyone can recommend a good face wash without exfoliating properties, I'd love to know! (I would use the Bare Minerals one as loads of people love it...but it has Pineapple extract in it and I'm allergic to pineapple so it dries me skin out more! Rubbish.)
  • Estee Lauder DayWear - The lovely Lyn gave this sachet to me so I could try it before deciding on which free gift to get (for myself of my Mum) and I liked it but not enough for me to get the gift for myself (I'm such a nice daughter! Haha!) Anyway, she ended up giving me another little gift anyway with a small pot of DayWear in! This sachet contains enough for a few uses and it is nice, but it's a little too scented for me to be comfortable with putting on my skin every day (it's so sensitive!)  Would I buy again? No, I wouldn't. It's quite expensive for something that I wouldn't want to use on my face everyday.
  • Superdrug Tropical Smoothie Self Heating Mask - This smelt divine I must say! It heated up very quickly too. However.....it also melted off my face (into my mouth and onto my clothes I might add!) and was just WAY more hassle than it was worth. I liked the tropical/cocktail peel off one they do but I didn't like this at all.  Would I buy again? No. Not ever.
  • Listerine Total Care Mouth Wash - (Not technically for my face but close enough) I really liked this. It's in "Clean Mint" flavour (which is the purple one) and I really liked the way this left my mouth feeling fresh without over doing it.  Would I buy again? Yes definitely. I'd choose this one over the other mint ones any day.
  • Vinies Luminous Skin Mask - Another Beauty box sample that has been around for far too long. This was a really nice mask...as long as you weren't going anywhere too soon as it did leave my skin looking quite red for a while afterwards!  Would I buy again? No I don't think so. It's difficult to get and quite expensive so I'm not that fussed.
  • The Body Shop Aloe Soothing Day Cream - I got this in a small set quite a while back and used it everyday for about 3 months before this was used up! I still have a bit of the night cream and the cleanser and toner left. This was really nice on my skin and absorbed quite quickly, which was nice! It helped calm my redness and dry skin as well and is for sensitive skin so I've had no problems with it! Would I buy again? Yes....and I already have. I brought the bigger sizes though as I knew I liked them all. My daily skincare routine has become much easier!

 Make-Up Products:

  • Natural Collection Clear Mascara - I used this on my eyebrows to tame them on bad days. It;s really good at what it does and is a nice clear mascara (well...until it turns murky brown from my eyebrow powder of course...) Would I buy again? No. It's lovely but there are cheaper clear mascaras out there and I only need to spend a pound on one if I want to.
  • 17 Falsifeye Mascara in Brown Black - This was free when I brought two products aaaages ago. It does create a nice effect but I'm not a fan of the huge brush on it really. Would I buy again? No. It's not my cup of tea I'm afraid.
  • 17 Photo Flawless Mascara in Black Copper - I really liked the curved wand on this mascara and the colour was nice too. Again, it was free when I brought 2 products and I ended up preferring this to the other one. Would I buy again? probably not. If I had to pick one 17 mascara it would be the Wild Curls one for sure as it's really good...but since using the Bare Minerals ones I probably won't go back to other mascaras.
  • NYC Lengthening Mascara in Black - I quite liked this for an everyday mascara but the wand is a brush one and I prefer the comb wands personally. Would I buy again? Again, no. I didn't see any lengthening properties to it at all.
  • 17 Blusher in China Pink - I loved this colour so much! It's subtle if you wanted it to be or you can build it for an intense look. Just a really pretty pink. Also the first powder item that I have EVER used up! When it got to the very last dregs it did break but I kept the remains in there as I could crush them down to use as a loose powder! Would I buy again? I did re-purchase this..and then sent it off to someone else. Again, working on a make-up counter means you can't wear other brands so this would just sit around waiting for a night out (rare!) so it was nice to pass on this lovely colour!

 Nail products:

  • Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Top Coat - My go to top coat every time I paint my nails. I haven't tried any others yet because I love this one so much that I don't feel I need to change it up at all. It does exactly what it's suppose to and makes my polish touch dry in 30 seconds. They are usually smudge proof in 2-3 minutes unless I've done fancy multi-layer nail art, then it can take longer. Would I buy again? YES! I'm on to my 6th or 7th bottle of the stuff now and always have a back-up just in case!
  • Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips - I got these on a whim to try them out in a "these could be good for emergencies" but they were a hassle to put on and didn't look great either. I can see why people might like them but I just found that painting my nails would've been easier. Would I buy again? No. Just not worth it.
  • Superdrug Nail Polish Remover - I've found that this stuff just works really well for me. It doesn't make my nails feel gross or anything either. It smells a bit because of the acetone but I don't mind that really. Would I buy again? Yes because it works and I like how quickly it can remove polish (even glitter polish!)

 Perfumes:

  • Calvin Klein Euphoria Sample - I really love this sample but it settles weirdly on me and give me a headache. My Mum loves it though! Would I buy again? Not for myself, no. But for my Mum, yes!
  • Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh Sample - I have the full size of this so I use these samples as handy ones for in my handbag, and boy have they come in handy. I really love this fresh scent and am in love with the bottle it comes in too! Would I buy again? Yes and I already have (ok, technically it was a Christmas Present last year but still...)
  • Marc Jacobs Dot - I like this perfume but it doesn't last very long on me at all for some reason. Would I buy again? I do love it but if it doesn't last very long, then what's the point in spending so much money on it?
(Just a quick note...all of these perfume samples are fully used but there's still the smallest amount left in the spray bottle. It's about 3 sprays worth and it's SO frustrating to not be able to get it out! Anyone else annoyed by that??)

So there are my empties for the last....while... Next time there won't be so many I can assure you! I have so much stuff and tend to very my products a lot but maybe I'll do individual empties posts so I can fully review the item? I'm not sure yet. Give me a shout on which you prefer if you want!

So have you reached the ends of any products that you loved or loathed? Disagree with any of my loves or loathes?? Any face wash recommendations???

Until next time,
xoxo
